Blade is fine with some minor pitting and surface rust towards the tip.  All markings are crisp and clear.  Dated 1862.  Has not been sharpened.  Brass guard has been polished at some point awhile ago.  Original leather scabbard is broken in a couple spots and taped with a weak spot in the middle.  Brass throat and drag.  32 1/4 inch blade.  The drag is a little squashed.
